To copy a remote le to Dell Networking system, combine the le-origin syntax for a remote le location with the le-destination syntax
for a local le location.

Important Points to Remember
You may not copy a le from one remote system to another.
You may not copy a le from one location to the same location.
When copying to a server, you can only use a hostname if a domain name server (DNS) server is congured.
After you insert a USB memory device into the USB port on an S5000 and enter the format usbflash:// command, to erase all
existing les and reformat the le system on the device, allow the process to run to completion before removing the device from the
USB port. If you remove the USB memory device before the formatting is complete, the Dell Networking OS may not recognize the le
system on the device.

Example of Copying a le from a Remote System

Mounting an NFS File System
This feature enables you to quickly access data on an NFS mounted le system. You can perform le operations on an NFS mounted le
system using supported le commands.
This feature allows an NFS mounted device to be recognized as a le system. This le system is visible on the device and you can execute
all le commands that are available on conventional le systems such as a Flash le system.
