Important Points to Remember
• You may not copy a le from one remote system to another.
• You may not copy a le from one location to the same location.
• When copying to a server, you can only use a hostname if a domain name server (DNS) server is congured.
• After you insert a USB memory device into the USB port on an S5000 and enter the format usbflash:// command, to erase all
existing les and reformat the le system on the device, allow the process to run to completion before removing the device from the
USB port. If you remove the USB memory device before the formatting is complete, the Dell Networking OS may not recognize the le
system on the device.

Mounting an NFS File System
This feature enables you to quickly access data on an NFS mounted le system. You can perform le operations on an NFS mounted le
system using supported le commands.
This feature allows an NFS mounted device to be recognized as a le system. This le system is visible on the device and you can execute
all le commands that are available on conventional le systems such as a Flash le system.
