Command History

The following is a list of the Dell Networking OS version history for this command.

Usage Information
CAUTION: Dell Force10 recommends that you do not change the administrative distance of
internal routes. Changing the administrative distances may cause routing table inconsistencies.
The higher the administrative distance assigned to a route means that your condence in that route is low.
Routes assigned an administrative distance of 255 are not installed in the routing table.
Routes from confederations are treated as internal BGP routes.
neighbor activate
Allows you to enable a specied neighbor/peer group for the current address and subsequent address family identier (AFI/SAFI).
Syntax
neighbor [ipv6-address | peer-group-name] activate
To disable, use the no neighbor [ipv6-address | peer-group-name] activate command.
Parameters
ipv6-address Enter the IPv6 address in the x:x:x:x::x format.
NOTE: The :: notation species successive hexadecimal elds of zeros.
peer-group-name Identify a peer group by name.
activate Enter the keyword activate to enable the identied neighbor or peer group in
the new AFI/SAFI.
Defaults Disabled.
