Usage Information
The rst time you enter this command it congures the neighbor as a route reector and members of the
route-reector cluster. Internal BGP (IBGP) speakers do not need to be fully meshed if you congure a route
reector.
When all clients of a route reector are disabled, the neighbor is no longer a route reector.
neighbor send-community
Send a COMMUNITY attribute to a BGP neighbor or peer group. A COMMUNITY attribute indicates that all routes with that
attribute belong to the same community grouping.
Syntax
neighbor {ipv6-address | peer-group-name} send-community
To disable sending a COMMUNITY attribute, use the no neighbor {ipv6-address | peer-
group-name} send-community command.
Parameters
ipv6-address Enter the IPv6 address in the x:x:x:x::x format.
NOTE: The :: notation species successive hexadecimal elds of zeros.
peer-group-name Enter the name of the peer group. All routers in the peer group receive routes from
a route reector.
Defaults Not congured and COMMUNITY attributes are not sent to neighbors.
