bgp bestpath med confed
Enable MULTI_EXIT_DISC (MED) attribute comparison on paths learned from BGP confederations.
Syntax
bgp bestpath med confed
To disable MED comparison on BGP confederation paths, use the no bgp bestpath med confed
command.
Defaults Disabled.

Usage Information
The software compares the MEDs only if the path contains no external autonomous system numbers.
If you enable this command, use the capture bgp-pdu max-buffer-size * command to
recompute the best path.
bgp bestpath med missing-as-best
During path selection, indicate a preference to paths with missing MED (MULTI_EXIT_DISC) over those paths with an advertised
MED attribute.
Syntax
bgp bestpath med missing-as-best
To return to the default selection, use the no bgp bestpath med missing-as-best command.
Defaults Disabled.
