Usage Information
Use this command on the interfaces where the DHCP clients are connected to forward the packets from
clients to DHCP server and vice-versa.
Example
Dell(conf-if-te-1/12)#ip helper-address vrf jay 10.0.0.2
show ip dhcp snooping
Display the contents of the DHCP binding table or display the interfaces congured with IP Source Guard.
Syntax
show ip dhcp snooping [binding | source-address-validation [discard-
counters [interface interface]]]
Parameters
binding
Display the binding table.
source-address-
validation
Display the interfaces congured with IP Source Guard.
discard-counters
(OPTIONAL) Display the number of dropped packets.
interface interface
(OPTIONAL) Species an interface to show the discard counters.
Enter any of the following keywords and slot/port or number information:
For a 10-Gigabit Ethernet interface, enter the keyword
TenGigabitEthernet then the slot/port information.
For a 40-Gigabit Ethernet interface, enter the keyword fortyGigE then the
slot/port information.
For a port channel interface, enter the keywords port-channel then a
number. The range is from 1 to 128.
