network
Specify the networks for the BGP process and enter them in the BGP routing table.
C-Series, E-Series TeraScale, S-Series
Syntax
network ip-address mask [route-map map-name]
To remove a network, use the no network ip-address mask [route-map map-name]
command.
Parameters
ip-address Enter an IP address in dotted decimal format of the network.
mask
Enter the mask of the IP address in the slash prex length format (for example, /
24).
The mask appears in command outputs in dotted decimal format (A.B.C.D).
route-map map-
name
(OPTIONAL) Enter the keyword route-map followed by the name of an
established route map.
Only the following ROUTE-MAP mode commands are supported:
match ip address
set community
set local-preference
set metric
set next-hop
set origin
set weight
If the route map is not congured, the default is deny (to drop all routes).
Defaults Not congured.

Usage Information Dell Networking OS software resolves the network address congured by the network command with the
routes in the main routing table to ensure that the networks are reachable using non-BGP routes and non-
default routes.
