Usage Information The set local-preference command changes the LOCAL_PREF attribute for routes meeting the
route map criteria. To change the LOCAL_PREF for all routes, use the bgp default local-
preference
command.

set metric
To assign a new metric to redistributed routes, congure a lter.
Syntax
set metric [+ | -] metric-value
To delete a setting, enter no set metric.
Parameters
+ (OPTIONAL) Enter + to add a metric-value to the redistributed routes.
- (OPTIONAL) Enter - to subtract a metric-value from the redistributed routes.
metric-value Enter a number as the new metric value. The range is from zero (0) to
4294967295.
