The following lists the show fcoe-map command example eld descriptions.
Field Description
Fabric-Name Name of a SAN fabric.
Fabric ID The ID number of the SAN fabric to which FC trac is forwarded.
VLAN ID The dedicated VLAN used to transport FCoE storage trac between servers and a fabric over the NPG. The
congured VLAN ID must be the same as the fabric ID.
VLAN priority FCoE trac uses VLAN priority 3. (This setting is not user-congurable.)
FC-MAP FCoE MAC-address prex value — The unique 24-bit MAC address prex that identies a fabric.
FKA-ADV-period Time interval (in seconds) used to transmit FIP keepalive advertisements.
FCF Priority The priority a server uses to select an upstream FCoE forwarder.
Cong-State Indicates whether the congured FCoE and FC parameters in the FCoE map are valid:
• Active (all mandatory FCoE and FC parameters are correctly congured)
• Incomplete (either the FC-MAP value, fabric ID, or VLAN ID are not correctly congured)
Oper-State Operational status of link to the fabric:
• up (link is up and transmitting FC trac)
• down (link is down and not transmitting FC trac),
• link-wait (link is up and waiting for FLOGI to complete on peer FC port)
• removed (port has been shut down)
Members Ethernet and FC ports that are members of the dedicated FCoE VLAN that carries storage trac to the specied
fabric.
