spanning-tree msti
Configure multiple spanning tree instance cost and priority for an interface.
S5000
Syntax
spanning-tree msti instance {cost cost | priority priority}
Parameters
msti instance Enter the keyword msti and the MST instance number. The
range is zero (0) to 63.
cost cost (OPTIONAL) Enter the keyword cost followed by the port
cost value. The range is 1 to 200000. The defaults are:
• 1-Gigabit Ethernet interface = 20000
• 10-Gigabit Ethernet interface = 2000
• 40-Gigabit Ethernet interface = 2000
• Port Channel interface with one 1-Gigabit Ethernet
interface = 20000
• Port Channel interface with one 10-Gigabit Ethernet =
2000
• Port Channel interface with one 40-Gigabit Ethernet =
2000
• Port Channel interface with two 1-Gigabit Ethernet =
18000
• Port Channel with two 10-Gigabit Ethernet = 1800
• Port Channel with two 40-Gigabit Ethernet = 1800
priority priority Enter keyword priority followed by a value in increments
of 16 as the priority. The range is 0 to 240. The default is 128.

• cost = depends on the interface type
• priority = 128
