Usage
Information
Untagged interfaces can only belong to one VLAN.
In the Default VLAN, you cannot use the no untagged interface command. To
remove an untagged interface from all VLANs, including the Default VLAN, enter
INTERFACE mode and use the no switchport command.

Far-End Failure Detection (FEFD)
The Dell Networking OS supports far-end failure detection (FEFD) on the Ethernet interfaces of the
S5000 switch.
The FEFD feature detects and reports far-end link failures.
FEFD is not supported on the Management interface.
During an stack-unit failover, FEFD is operationally disabled for approximately 8-10 seconds.
By default, FEFD is disabled.

Enable debugging of FEFD.

debug fefd {events | packets} [interface-type slot/port]
To disable debugging of FEFD, use the no debug fefd {events | packets}
[
interface] command.
Parameters
events Enter the keyword events to enable debugging of FEFD
state changes.
packets Enter the keyword packets to enable debugging of FEFD to
view information on packets sent and received.
interface-type
slot/port
(OPTIONAL) Enter one of the following keywords and slot/
port or number information. Valid slot numbers are 0-11. The
valid port numbers for each interface type are listed below.
For a 10-Gigabit Ethernet interface, enter the keyword
tengigabitethernet followed by slot/port numbers.
The port range is 0 to 63.
For a 40-Gigabit Ethernet interface, enter the keyword
fortyGigE followed by slot/port numbers. The ports are
48, 52, 56, and 60.
