mac-address-table static
Associate specific MAC or hardware addresses to an interface and VLANs.

Syntax
mac-address-table static mac-address output interface-type
slot/port vlan vlan-id
To remove a MAC address, use the no mac-address-table static mac-
address output interface-type slot/port vlan vlan-id command.
Parameters
mac-address Enter the 48-bit hexidecimal address in nn:nn:nn:nn:nn:nn
format.
output
interface-type
slot/port
Enter the keyword output followed by one of the following
interfaces:
• For a 10-Gigabit Ethernet interface, enter the keyword
tengigabitethernet followed by slot/port numbers.
The port range is 0 to 63.
• For a 40-Gigabit Ethernet interface, enter the keyword
fortyGigE followed by slot/port numbers. The ports are
48, 52, 56, and 60.
• For a Port Channel interface, enter the keywords port-
channel
followed by a number from 1 to 128.
vlan vlan-id Enter the keyword vlan followed by a VLAN ID number from
1 to 4094.
