Allows you to view the information exchanged by BGP neighbors.

Syntax
show ip bgp ipv6 unicast neighbors [ipv6-address prefix-length
[advertised-routes | dampened-routes | detail | flap-statistics
| routes]]
Parameters
ipv6-address
prefix-length
(OPTIONAL) Enter the IPv6 address in the x:x:x:x::x format
followed by the prefix length in the /x format. The range is /0
to /128.
NOTE: The :: notation specifies successive hexadecimal
fields of zeros.
advertised-
routes
(OPTIONAL) Enter the keywords advertised-routes to
view only the routes the neighbor sent.
dampened-
routes
(OPTIONAL) Enter the keywords dampened-routes to view
information on dampened routes from the BGP neighbor.
flap-statistics (OPTIONAL) Enter the keywords flap-statistics to view
flap statistics on the neighbor’s routes.
detail (OPTIONAL) Display detailed neighbor information.
routes (OPTIONAL) Enter the keyword routes to view only the
neighbor’s feasible routes.

Information
The following describes the show ip bgp ipv6 unicast neighbors
command shown in the Example below.
Lines Beginning
with
Description
BGP neighbor Displays the BGP neighbor address and its AS number. The
last phrase in the line indicates whether the link between the
BGP router and its neighbor is an external or internal one. If
they are located in the same AS, then the link is internal;
otherwise, the link is external.
BGP version Displays the BGP version (always version 4) and the remote
router ID.
BGP state Displays the neighbor’s BGP state and the amount of time in
hours:minutes:seconds it has been in that state.
