ipv6 host
Assign a name and IPv6 address to be used by the host-to-IP address mapping table.

ipv6 host name ipv6-address
Parameters
name Enter a text string to associate with one IP address.
ipv6-address Enter the IPv6 address (X:X:X:X::X) to be mapped to the
name.
Defaults Not configured.

Enter up to six IPv6 addresses of name servers. The order you enter the addresses determines the order
of their use.

ipv6 name-server ipv6-address [ipv6-address2... ipv6-address6]
Parameters
ipv6-address Enter the IPv6 address (X:X:X:X::X) of the name server to be
used.
ipv6-address2...
ipv6-address6
Enter up five more IP addresses, in dotted decimal format, of
name servers to be used. Separate the addresses with a
space.
