neighbor route-map – assigns a route map to a neighbor or peer group.
neighbor ebgp-multihop
Attempt and accept BGP connections to external peers on networks that are not directly connected.

Syntax
neighbor {ip-address | peer-group-name} ebgp-multihop [ttl]
To disallow and disconnect connections, use the no neighbor {ip-address |
peer-group-name} ebgp-multihop command.
Parameters
ip-address Enter the IP address of the neighbor in dotted decimal
format.
peer-group-
name
Enter the name of the peer group.
ttl (OPTIONAL) Enter the number of hops as the Time to Live
(ttl) value. The range is 1 to 255. The default is 255.
Defaults Disabled.

Usage
Information
To prevent loops, the neighbor ebgp-multihop command does not install the
default routes of the multihop peer. Networks not directly connected are not
considered valid for best-path selection.
neighbor fail-over
Enable or disable fast fail-over for BGP neighbors.

neighbor {ipv4-address | peer-group-name} fall-over
To disable, use the no neighbor {ipv4-address | peer-group-name}
fall-over
command.
Parameters
ipv4-address Enter the IP address of the neighbor in dotted decimal
format.
