PIM-Sparse Mode (PIM-SM)

Dell Networking OS supports protocol-independent multicast (PIM) commands on the S5000 switch.

The following describes the IPv4 PIM-sparse mode (PIM-SM) commands.

clear ip pim rp-mapping

Used by the bootstrap router (BSR) to remove all or particular rendezvous point (RP) advertisement.

clear ip pim rp-mapping rp-address

Parameters

rp-address (OPTIONAL) Enter the RP address in dotted decimal format

(A.B.C.D).
