For a 10-Gigabit Ethernet interface, enter the keyword
TenGigabitEthernet then the slot/port information.
For a 40-Gigabit Ethernet interface, enter the keyword fortyGigE then the
slot/port information.
For a port channel interface, enter the keywords port-channel then a
number.
For a VLAN interface, enter the keyword vlan then a number from 1 to 4094.

Usage
Information
The ip nd mtu command sets the value advertised to routers. It does not set the actual MTU rate. For
example, if ip nd mtu is set to 1280, the interface still passes 1500-byte packets.
The mtu command sets the actual frame size passed and can be larger than the advertised MTU. If the
mtu setting is larger than the ip nd mtu command, an error message is sent, but the configuration is
accepted. The error message is: % Error: nd ra mtu is greater than link mtu, link
mtu will be used.
