SNMP over IPv6
SNMP is supported on the S5000 platform.
Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) can be configured over IPv6 transport so that an IPv6 host
can perform SNMP queries and receive SNMP notifications from a device running Dell Networking OS
IPv6. The Dell Networking OS SNMP-server commands for IPv6 have been extended to support IPv6.
Refer to the
SNMP and SYSLOG chapter in the Dell Networking OS Command Line Interface Reference for
more information regarding SNMP commands.

• snmp-server user ipv6
• snmp-server community ipv6
• snmp-server community access-list-name ipv6
