fc switch-mode fabric-services
Change the switch mode from NPIV Gateway (NPG) mode to Fabric-Services mode.

Syntax
fc switch-mode fabric-services
To change from Fiber Channel Forwarder (FCF) mode to Fabric-Services mode, use the no feature fc
command. To change from FCF to NPG mode, use the no feature fc command and then the
feature fc command
Parameters
fabric-services Enter the keywords fabric-services to congure fabric services mode.

Usage Information
All Fabric-Services mode CLI commands are enabled after changing to Fabric-Services mode.
When you run the fc switch-mode fabric-services command, the following warning message
displays:
Warning!!: Switch mode in running-config will be changed to 'fabric-
services' :Continue? [yes/no]:
no – No eect on the running-cong.
yes – Changes the running-cong to reect the new switch-mode.
If an fcoe-map exists, the following warning message displays:
Warning!!: Existing fabric configuration detected, proceeding to REBOOT
switch :Continue? [yes/no]:
no – Does not reboot the switch.
yes – Reboots the switch and prompts the user to save the running cong.
If no fcoe-map exists, the switch-mode moves to the newly congured switch-mode without any warning
messages.
