Usage Information
CAUTION: Dell Networking recommends not changing the administrative distance of internal
routes. Changing the administrative distances may cause routing table inconsistencies.
The higher the administrative distance assigned to a route means that your condence in that route is low.
Routes assigned an administrative distance of 255 are not installed in the routing table. Routes from
confederations are treated as internal BGP routes.

neighbor activate
This command allows the specied neighbor/peer group to be enabled for the current AFI/SAFI.
Syntax
neighbor [ip-address | peer-group-name] activate
To disable, use the no neighbor [ip-address | peer-group-name] activate command.
Parameters
ip-address (OPTIONAL) Enter the IP address of the neighbor in dotted decimal format.
peer-group-name (OPTIONAL) Enter the name of the peer group.
activate Enter the keyword activate to enable the neighbor/peer group in the new AFI/
SAFI.
