neighbor lter-list
Congure a BGP lter based on the AS-PATH attribute.
Syntax
neighbor {ip-address | peer-group-name} filter-list as-path-name {in | out}
To delete a BGP lter, use the no neighbor {ip-address | peer-group-name} filter-list
as-path-name {in | out} command.
Parameters
ip-address Enter the IP address of the neighbor in dotted decimal format.
peer-group-name Enter the name of the peer group to apply the lter to all routers in the peer group.
as-path-name
Enter the name of an established AS-PATH access list (up to 140 characters).
If the AS-PATH access list is not congured, the default is permit (allow routes).
in Enter the keyword in to lter inbound BGP routes.
out Enter the keyword out to lter outbound BGP routes.
Defaults Not congured.

Usage Information To enter AS-PATH ACL mode and congure the AS-PATH lters to deny or permit BGP routes based on
information in their AS-PATH attribute, use the ip as-path access-list command in
CONFIGURATION mode.
