Usage Information If you enter bgp dampening, the default values for half-life, reuse, suppress, and max-
suppress-time are applied. The parameters are position-dependent; therefore, if you congure one
parameter, you must congure the parameters in the order they appear in the command.

Reset MBGP sessions.
Syntax
clear ip bgp ipv6 unicast * ipv6-address prefix-length [dampening | flap-
statistics] peer-group]
Parameters
* Enter the character * to clear all peers.
ipv6-address prex-
length
Enter the IPv6 address in the x:x:x:x::x format then the prex length in the /x
format. The range is from /0 to /128.
NOTE: The :: notation species successive hexadecimal elds of zeros.
dampening (OPTIONAL) Enter the keyword dampening to clear route ap dampening
information.
ap-statistics (OPTIONAL) Enter the keywords flap-statistics to reset the ap statistics
on all prexes from that neighbor.
peer-group (OPTIONAL) Enter the keywords peer-group to clear all members of a peer-
group.
