network
Specify the networks for the BGP process and enter them in the BGP routing table.
Syntax
network ipv6-address prefix-length [route-map map-name]
To remove a network, use the no network ip-address mask [route-map map-name]
command.
Parameters
ipv6-address prex-
length
Enter the IPv6 address in the x:x:x:x::x format then the prex length in the /x
format. The range is from /0 to /128.
NOTE: The :: notation species successive hexadecimal elds of zeros.
mask Enter the mask of the IP address in the slash prex length format (for example, /
24). The mask appears in command outputs in dotted decimal format (A.B.C.D).
route-map map-
name
(OPTIONAL) Enter the keywords route-map followed by the name of an
established route map. Only the following ROUTE-MAP mode commands are
supported:
match ipv6 address
match ipv6 next-hop
match ipv6 route-source
set ipv6 next-hop
If the route map is not congured, the default is deny (to drop all routes).
Defaults Not congured.

Usage Information The software resolves the network address congured by the network command with the routes in the
main routing table to ensure that the networks are reachable using non-BGP routes and non-default routes.
