Information
The following describes the show ip route all command in the following
example.
Field Description
(undefined) Identifies the type of route:
• C = connected
• S = static
• R = RIP
• B = BGP
• IN = internal BGP
• EX = external BGP
• LO = Locally Originated
• O = OSPF
• IA = OSPF inter area
• N1 = OSPF NSSA external type 1
• N2 = OSPF NSSA external type 2
• E1 = OSPF external type 1
• E2 = OSPF external type 2
• i = IS-IS
• L1 = IS-IS level-1
• L2 = IS-IS level-2
• IA = IS-IS inter-area
• * = candidate default
• > = non-active route
• + = summary routes
Destination Identifies the route’s destination IP address
Gateway Identifies whether the route is directly connected and on
which interface the route is configured.
Dist/Metric Identifies if the route has a specified distance or metric.
Last Change Identifies when the route was last changed or configured.
The weight for weighted ECMP route calculations is displayed for each path in the
route in show ip route command. The ECMP weight is displayed only if
weighted ECMP is enabled using the ip ecmp weighted command is enabled.
If weighted ECMP is disabled, the show ip route command does not show the
weighted ECMP route information.
