Usage
Information
This feature advertises to BGP neighbors through a capability advertisement. In
Receiver Only mode, BGP saves the advertised routes of peers that support this
capability when they restart.
neighbor local-as
To accept external routes from neighbors with a local AS number in the AS number path, configure
Internal BGP (IBGP) routers.
Syntax
neighbor {ip-address | peer-group-name} local-as as-number [no-
prepend]
To return to the default value, use the no neighbor {ip-address | peer-
group-name} local-as command.
Parameters
ip-address Enter the IP address of the neighbor in dotted decimal
format.
peer-group-
name
Enter the name of the peer group to set the advertisement
interval for all routers in the peer group.
as-number Enter the AS number to reset all neighbors belonging to that
AS. The range is from 0 to 65535 (2 byte), from 1 to
4294967295 (4 byte) or from 0.1 to 65535.65535 (dotted
format).
no prepend Specifies that local AS values do not prepend to
announcements from the neighbor.
Defaults Not configured.
