Boot User Mode
All commands in this chapter are available in Boot User mode on the S5000.
To access this mode, press any key when the following line appears on the console during a system boot:
Hit any key to stop autoboot:
You enter Boot User mode immediately, as indicated by the BOOT_USER# prompt.
NOTE: You cannot use the Tab key to complete commands in this mode.
boot change
Change the boot parameters in the operating system.

boot change {primary | secondary | default}
Command
Modes
BOOT USER
Parameters
primary Set the S5000 to boot up with the primary boot parameters.
secondary Set the S5000 to boot up with the secondary boot
parameters.
default Set the S5000 to boot up with the default boot parameters.
Default The S5000 boots up using the primary boot parameters if they are valid. If the
primary parameters are not valid, the switch boots with the secondary parameters.
If the secondary parameters are not valid, it boots with the default parameters.
