neighbor activate
Allows you to enable a specified neighbor/peer group for the current address and subsequent address
family identifier (AFI/SAFI).
Syntax
neighbor [ipv6-address | peer-group-name] activate
To disable, use the no neighbor [ipv6-address | peer-group-name]
activate command.
Parameters
ipv6-address Enter the IPv6 address in the x:x:x:x::x format.
NOTE: The :: notation specifies successive hexadecimal
fields of zeros.
peer-group-
name
Identify a peer group by name.
activate Enter the keyword activate to enable the identified
neighbor or peer group in the new AFI/SAFI.
Defaults Disabled.

Usage
Information
By default, when a neighbor/peer group configuration is created in the Router BGP
context, it is enabled for the IPv6/Unicast AFI/SAFI. By using activate in the new
context, the neighbor/peer group is enabled for AFI/SAFI.
