encryption-type (OPTIONAL) Enter 7 to encrypt the password using DES.
password Enter an alphanumeric string up to 16 characters long. If you do not
specify an encryption type or hmac-md5 keywords, the
password is processed as plain text which provides limited security.
Defaults No default password.

The domain password is inserted in Level 2 link state PDUs (LSPs), complete sequence number
PDUs (CSNPs), and partial sequence number PDUs (PSNPs).

Usage
Information
Every graceful restart enabled router’s HELLO PDUs includes a restart TLV. This enables the
(re)starting as well as the existing ISIS peers to detect the GR capability of the routers on the
connected network. A flag in the Restart TLV contains restart request (RR), restart
acknowledge (RA) and suppress adjacency advertisement (SA) bit flags.
