ip dhcp relay information-agent remote-id
Manually re-set the remote-id for Option 82.

Syntax
ip dhcp relay information-agent remote-id [hostname | remote-
id]
Parameters
hostname
Set the hostname as the remote-id in Option 82.
remote-id
Enter the name of the remote-id, maximum 64 characters.
Default Chassis MAC address

Usage
Information
Option 82 is comprised of two sub-options, circuit id and remote id. Remote id
uses the MAC address of the relay agent which adds Option 82 to identify the host sending the
message. Use the
ip dhcp relay information-agent remote-id command to
change the default remote-id value.
