Usage
Information
When you enable this command, if a Policy Map containing classification rules (ACL and/or
dscp/ ip-precedence rules) is applied to more than one physical interface on the same port
pipe, only a single copy of the policy is written (only one FP entry is used).
NOTE: An ACL itself may still require more that a single FP entry, regardless of the number
of interfaces. For more information, refer to the “IP Access Control Lists”, “Prefix Lists”,
and “Route-map” sections in the FTOS Configuration Guide .
cam-profile
Set the default CAM profile and the required microcode.
E-Series
Syntax
cam-profile profile microcode microcode
Parameters
profile Choose one of the following CAM profiles:
• Enter the keyword default to specify the default CAM
profile.
• Enter the keywords eg-default to specify the default
CAM profile for EG (dual-CAM) line cards.
• Enter the keywords ipv4-320k to specify the CAM profile
that provides 320K entries for the IPv4 forwarding information
base (FIB).
• Enter the keywords ipv4-egacl-16k to specify the CAM
profile that provides 16K entries for egress ACLs.
• Enter the keywords ipv6-extacl to specify the CAM
profile that provides IPv6 functionality.
• Enter the keywords l2-ipv4-inacl to specify the CAM
profile that provides 32K entries for ingress ACLs.
