peer-group-name
Enter the name of the peer group to send a COMMUNITY attribute to
all routers within the peer group.
Defaults Not configured and COMMUNITY attributes are not sent to neighbors.

Disable a BGP neighbor or peer group.

Syntax
neighbor {ipv6-address | peer-group-name} shutdown
To enable a disabled neighbor or peer group, use the no neighbor {ipv6-address |
peer-group-name} shutdown command.
Parameters
ipv6-address
Enter the IPv6 address in the x:x:x:x::x format.
NOTE: The :: notation specifies successive hexadecimal fields of
zeros.
peer-group-name
Enter the name of the peer group to disable or enable all routers
within the peer group.
Defaults Enabled (that is, BGP neighbors and peer groups are disabled.)

Usage
Information
Peers that are enabled within a peer group are disabled when their peer group is disabled.
The neighbor shutdown command terminates all BGP sessions on the BGP neighbor or
BGP peer group. Use this command with caution as it terminates the specified BGP sessions.
When a neighbor or peer group is shutdown, use the
show ip bgp summary command to
confirm its status.
