Usage
Information
This command turns on BGP soft-reconfiguration inbound debugging. If no neighbor is
specified, debug turns on for all neighbors.
debug ip bgp updates
Allows you to view information about BGP updates.
C-Series, E-Series, S-Series, Z-Series, S4810
Syntax
debug ip bgp updates [in | out | prefix-list prefix-list-name]
To disable debugging, use the no debug ip bgp [ip-address | peer-group
peer-group-name] updates [in | out] command.
Parameters
in (OPTIONAL) Enter the keyword in to view only BGP updates
received from neighbors.
out (OPTIONAL) Enter the keyword out to view only BGP updates sent to
neighbors.
prefix-list prefix-
list-name
(OPTIONAL) Enter the keyword prefix-list followed by the
name of an established prefix list. If the prefix list is not configured,
the default is permit (to allow all routes).
ip-address (OPTIONAL) Enter the IP address of the neighbor in dotted decimal
format.
peer-group-name (OPTIONAL) Enter the name of the peer group to disable or enable all
routers within the peer group.
