network
Enable RIP for a specified network. Use this command to enable RIP on all networks connected to the switch.
C-Series, E-Series, S-Series, Z-Series, S4810
Syntax
network ip-address
To disable RIP for a network, use the no network ip-address command.
Parameters
ip-address
Specify an IP network address in dotted decimal format. You cannot
specify a subnet.
Defaults No RIP network is configured.

Usage
Information
You can enable an unlimited number of RIP networks.
RIP operates over interfaces configured with any address specified by the network
command.
offset-list
Specify a number to add to the incoming or outgoing route metrics learned using RIP.

Syntax
offset-list prefix-list-name {in | out} offset [interface]
To delete an offset list, use the no offset-list prefix-list-name {in | out}
offset [interface] command.
Parameters
prefix-list-name
Enter the name of an established Prefix list to determine which
incoming routes will be modified.
offset
Enter a number from zero (0) to 16 to be applied to the incoming route
metric matching the access list specified. If you set an offset value to
zero (0), no action is taken.
