Reference Guide
• For Port Channel groups, enter the keywords port-
channel followed by a number. For the C-Series and S-
Series, the range is 1 to 128. For the E-Series, the range is 1 to
255 for TeraScale.
• For a SONET interface, enter the keyword sonet followed by
the slot/port information.
• For a 10-Gigabit Ethernet interface, enter the keyword
TenGigabitEthernet followed by the slot/port
information.
• For a VLAN, enter the keyword vlan followed by the VLAN
ID. The range is from 1 to 4094.
• For a 40-Gigabit Ethernet interface, enter the keyword
fortyGigE followed by the slot/port information.

Usage
Information
The following describes the show ip ospf process-id interface command
shown in the Example below.
Item Description
GigabitEthernet... This line identifies the interface type slot/port and the status of the
OSPF protocol on that interface.
Internet Address... This line displays the IP address, network mask and area assigned to
this interface.
Process ID... This line displays the OSPF Process ID, Router ID, Network type and
cost metric for this interface.
Transmit Delay... This line displays the interface’s settings for Transmit Delay, State,
and Priority. In the State setting, BDR is Backup Designated Router.
Designated Router... This line displays the ID of the Designated Router and its interface
address.
