iSCSI Optimization
Internet small computer system interface (iSCSI) optimization enables quality-of-service (QoS) treatment for iSCSI storage trac on
an S4810 system.
To congure and verify the iSCSI optimization feature, use the following Dell Networking OS commands.
advertise dcbx-app-tlv
Congure DCBX to send iSCSI TLV advertisements.
Syntax
advertise dcbx-app-tlv iscsi
To disable DCBX iSCSI TLV advertisements, use the no advertise dcbx-app-tlv iscsi command.
Defaults Disabled.

Usage Information You can congure iSCSI TLVs to send either globally or on a specied interface. The interface conguration
takes priority over global conguration.
iscsi aging time
Set the aging time for iSCSI sessions.
Syntax
iscsi aging time time
To remove the iSCSI session aging time, use the no iscsi aging time command.
Parameters
time Enter the aging time for the iSCSI session. The range is from 5 to 43,200 minutes.
Defaults 10 minutes
