After you configure a peer group as passive, you must assign it a subnet using the neighbor
subnet command.

neighbor {ipv6-address | peer-group-name} remote-as number
To delete a remote AS entry, use the no neighbor {ipv6-address | peer-group-name} remote-as
number command.

Information
If the number parameter is the same as the AS number used in the router bgp command, the
remote AS entry in the neighbor is considered an internal BGP peer entry.
This command creates a peer and the newly created peer is disabled (shutdown).
peer-group-name
Enter a text string up to 16 characters long as the name of the peer group.

neighbor subnet Assign a subnet to a dynamically-configured BGP neighbor.
ipv6-address
Enter the IPv6 address in the x:x:x:x::x format.
The :: notation specifies successive hexadecimal fields of zeros.
peer-group-name
Enter the name of the peer group to enter the remote AS into
routing tables of all routers within the peer group.
number
Enter a number of the AS.
Range: 1 to 65535.
