Interface commands
channel-group
Assigns an interface to a port-channel group.
Syntax
channel-group channel-number mode {active | on | passive}
Parameters
• channel-number — Enter a port-channel number (1 to 128).
• mode — Sets the LACP actor mode.
• active — Sets channeling mode to active.
• on — Sets channeling mode to static.
• passive — Sets channeling mode to passive.

Usage Information The no version of this command resets the value to the default, and unassigns the interface from the port-channel
group.
Example
OS10(config)# interface ethernet 1/1/2:1
OS10(conf-if-eth1/1/2:1)# channel-group 20 mode active

Resets an Ethernet or Fibre Channel interface to its default settings.
Syntax
default interface type
Parameters interface type — Enter the interface type:
• ethernet node/slot/port[:subport] — Resets an Ethernet interface to its default settings.
• fibrechannel node/slot/port[:subport] — Resets an Ethernet interface to its default settings.

Command mode CONFIGURATION
Usage information To remove the conguration from an Ethernet or Fibre Channel interface and reset the interface to its default
settings, use the default interface command. By default:
• An Ethernet interface is enabled (no shutdown); a Fibre Channel interface is disabled (shutdown).
• An Ethernet interface is assigned to the default VLAN.
•
For all interfaces, no IP address and no L2 switchport are congured (no IP address).
