Usage Information
• LS Age—Displays the LS age.
• Options—Displays optional capabilities.
• LS Type—Displays the Link State type.
• Link State ID—Identies the router ID.
• Advertising Router—Identies the advertising router’s ID.
• LS Seq Number—Identies the LS sequence number (identies old or duplicate LSAs).
• Checksum—Displays the Fletcher checksum of an LSA’s complete contents.
• Length—Displays the LSA length in bytes.
• Network Mask—Indenties the network mask implemented on the area.
• TOS—Displays the ToS options. Option 0 is the only option.
• Metric—Displays the LSA metric.

show ip ospf database external
Displays information about the AS external (Type 5) LSAs.
Syntax
show ip ospf [process-id] database external
Parameters process-id—(Optional) Displays AS external (Type 5) LSA information for a specied OSPF Process ID. If you
do not enter a Process ID, this command applies only to the rst OSPF process.
