Usage Information
A route reflector reflects routes to the neighbors assigned to the cluster. Neighbors in
the cluster do not need not to be fully meshed. By default, when you use no route
reflector, the internal BGP (IBGP) speakers in the network must be fully meshed.
The first time you enter this command, the router configures as a route reflector and
the specified BGP neighbors configure as clients in the route-reflector cluster.
When you remove all clients of a route reflector using the no neighbor route-
reflector-client command, the router no longer functions as a route reflector.
If the clients of a route reflector are fully meshed, you can configure the route reflector
to not reflect routes to specified clients by using the no bgp client-to-client
reflection command.
This command automatically restarts the neighbor session for the configuration to take
effect.
