Users Guide

Version Description
6.1.1.0 Introduced on the E-Series.
Usage Information
When you use the log option, the CP processor logs details about the packets that
match. Depending on how many packets match the log entry and at what rate, the CP
may become busy as it has to log these packets’ details.
NOTE: When you configure the ACL logging and byte counters simultaneously,
byte counters may display an incorrect value. Configure packet counters with
logging instead.

IP Prefix List Commands

implicit permit.
To configure or enable IP prefix lists, use these commands.

Reset the number of times traffic mets the conditions (“hit” counters) of the configured prefix lists.
Syntax
clear ip prefix-list [prefix-name]
Parameters
prefix-name (OPTIONAL) Enter the name of the configured prefix list to clear
only counters for that prefix list, up to 140 characters long.
Defaults Clears “hit” counters for all prefix lists unless a prefix list is specified.
