Users Guide
The following describes the two supported log messages formats:
• 0 – Displays syslog messages format as described in RFC 3164, The BSD syslog
Protocol
• 1 – Displays SYSLOG message format as described in RFC 5424, The Syslog

show logging
Display the logging settings and system messages logged to the internal buffer of the switch.
Syntax
show logging [number | history [reverse][number] | reverse
[number] | summary]
Parameters
number (OPTIONAL) Enter the number of messages displayed in the
output. The range is from 1 to 65535.
history (OPTIONAL) Enter the keyword history to view only
information in the Syslog history table.
reverse (OPTIONAL) Enter the keyword reverse to view the Syslog
messages in FIFO (first in, first out) order.
summary (OPTIONAL) Enter the keyword summary to view a table
showing the number of messages per type and per slot. Slots *7*
and *8* represent RPMs.
