show mac-address-table
Display the MAC address table.
Syntax
show mac-address-table [address mac-address | interface interface
| vlan vlan-id] [aging-time] [dynamic | static] [count [vlan vlan-
id] [interface interface-type [slot [/port[/subport]]]]]
Parameters
address mac-
address
(OPTIONAL) Enter the keyword address then a MAC address in
the nn:nn:nn:nn:nn:nn format to display information on that
MAC address.
dynamic (OPTIONAL) Enter the keyword dynamic to display only those
MAC addresses the switch dynamically learns. Optionally, you
can also add one of these combinations: address/mac-
address
, interface/interface, or vlan vlan-id.
static (OPTIONAL) Enter the keyword static to display only those
MAC addresses specifically configured on the switch. Optionally,
you can also add one of these combinations: address/mac-
address
, interface/interface, or vlan vlan-id.
aging-time Enter the keyword aging-time to display only aging-time
information.
interface interface (OPTIONAL) Enter the keyword interface and the interface
information:
For a port channel interface, enter the keywords port-
channel
then a number.
For a 10-Gigabit Ethernet interface, enter the keyword
TenGigabitEthernet then the slot/port[/subport]
information.
For a 40-Gigabit Ethernet interface, enter the keyword
fortyGigE then the slot/port information.
interface
interface-type
(OPTIONAL) Instead of entering the keyword interface then
the interface type, slot/port[/subport] information, as above, you
can enter the interface type, then just a slot number.
vlan vlan-id (OPTIONAL) Enter the keyword vlan then the VLAN ID to
display the MAC address assigned to the VLAN. The range is 1 to
4094.
count (OPTIONAL) Enter the keyword count, then optionally, by an
interface or VLAN ID, to display total or interface-specific static
addresses, dynamic addresses, and MAC addresses in use.
