Users Guide
only have the shutdown, description, and name commands congured. The Port Channel’s conguration is
applied to the interfaces within the Port Channel.
A Port Channel can contain any physical interface. Based on the rst interface congured in the Port Channel and
enabled, Dell EMC Networking OS determines the common speed. For more information, refer to channel-member.
If the line card is in a Jumbo mode chassis, you can also congure the mtu and ip mtu commands. The Link MTU
and IP MTU values congured on the channel members must be greater than the Link MTU and IP MTU values
congured on the Port Channel interface.
NOTE: In a Jumbo-enabled system, all members of a Port Channel must be congured with the same link
MTU values and the same IP MTU values.
Example
DellEMC(conf)# int port-channel 2
DellEMC(conf-if-po-2)#
