Users Guide

only have the shutdown, description, and name commands congured. The Port Channel’s conguration is
applied to the interfaces within the Port Channel.
A Port Channel can contain any physical interface. Based on the rst interface congured in the Port Channel and
enabled, Dell EMC Networking OS determines the common speed. For more information, refer to channel-member.
If the line card is in a Jumbo mode chassis, you can also congure the mtu and ip mtu commands. The Link MTU
and IP MTU values congured on the channel members must be greater than the Link MTU and IP MTU values
congured on the Port Channel interface.
NOTE: In a Jumbo-enabled system, all members of a Port Channel must be congured with the same link
MTU values and the same IP MTU values.
Example
DellEMC(conf)# int port-channel 2
DellEMC(conf-if-po-2)#
