interface port-channel
Create a Port Channel interface, which is a link aggregation group (LAG) containing 16 physical interfaces on the S-Series.
Syntax
interface port-channel channel-number
To delete a Port Channel, use the no interface port-channel channel-number command.
Parameters
channel-number For a Port Channel interface, enter the keywords port-channel then a number. The
range is from 1 to 128.
Defaults Not congured.

Usage Information
Port Channel interfaces are logical interfaces and can be either in Layer 2 mode (by using the switchport
command) or Layer 3 mode (by conguring an IP address). You can add a Port Channel in Layer 2 mode to a
VLAN.
The shutdown, description, and name commands are the only commands that you can congure on an
interface while it is a member of a Port Channel. To add a physical interface to a Port Channel, the interface can
