key keyid (OPTIONAL) Enter the keyword key and a number as the NTP peer key. The range is
from 1 to 65534.
prefer (OPTIONAL) Enter the keyword prefer to indicate that this peer has priority over other
servers.
version number (OPTIONAL) Enter the keyword version and a number to correspond to the NTP
version used on the server. The range is from 1 to 4.
minpoll polling-
interval
(OPTIONAL) Enter the keyword minpollthen the polling-interval. The polling interval
range is from 4 to 16.
maxpoll polling-
interval
(OPTIONAL) Enter the keyword maxpollthen the polling-interval. The polling interval
range is from 4 to 16.

Usage Information
You can congure multiple time-serving hosts. From these time-serving hosts, the Dell EMC Networking OS
chooses one NTP host with which to synchronize. To determine which server is selected, use the show ntp
associations command.
