• For a port-channel interface, enter the keywords port-channel then the port-
channel ID.
• For a VLAN, enter the keyword vlan then a number from 1 to 4094.
priority (OPTIONAL) Enter the priority used in Bootstrap election process. The range is zero (0)
to 255. The default is 192.
acl-name (OPTIONAL) Enter the name of an ACL to congure a PIM router to act as an RP for a
specic set of multicast group addresses that are dened in the ACL.
Defaults Not congured.

Syntax
ip pim sparse-mode
To disable PIM sparse mode and IGMP, use the no ip pim sparse-mode command.
Defaults Disabled.
