Usage Information
You can congure the optimal switchover functionality for LACP even if you do not enable the fast boot mode on
the system. You must congure the long timeout mechanism for the LACP session to enable the fast boot
capability to operate properly. This command applies to dynamic port-channel interfaces only. When applied on a
static port-channel, this command has no eect
If you congure the optimized booting-time capability and perform a reload of the system, the LACP application
sends PDUs across all the active LACP links immediately.
Related Commands show lacp — displays the LACP conguration.
lacp long-timeout
Congure a long timeout period (30 seconds) for an LACP session.
Syntax
lacp long-timeout
To reset the timeout period to a short timeout (1 second), use the no lacp long-timeout command.
Defaults 1 second
