Usage Information
You can congure the optimal switchover functionality for LACP even if you do not enable the fast boot mode on
the system. You must congure the long timeout mechanism for the LACP session to enable the fast boot
capability to operate properly. This command applies to dynamic port-channel interfaces only. When applied on a
static port-channel, this command has no eect
If you congure the optimized booting-time capability and perform a reload of the system, the LACP application
sends PDUs across all the active LACP links immediately.
Related Commands show lacp — displays the LACP conguration.
lacp long-timeout
Congure a long timeout period (30 seconds) for an LACP session.
Syntax
lacp long-timeout
To reset the timeout period to a short timeout (1 second), use the no lacp long-timeout command.
Defaults 1 second
