hello-time
Set the time interval between generation of MSTB bridge protocol data units (BPDUs).
Syntax
hello-time seconds
To return to the default value, use the no hello-time command.
Parameters
seconds
Enter a number as the time interval between transmission of BPDUs. The range is
from 1 to 10. The default is 2 seconds.
Defaults 2 seconds

Commands
forward-delay — the amount of time the interface waits in the Blocking State and the Learning State
before transitioning to the Forwarding State.
max-age — changes the wait time before MSTP refreshes protocol configuration information.
max-age
To maintain configuration information before refreshing that information, set the time interval for the MSTB.
Syntax
max-age seconds
To return to the default values, use the no max-age command.
Parameters
max-age
Enter a number of seconds the Dell Networking OS waits before refreshing
configuration information. The range is from 6 to 40. The default is 20 seconds.
