show gvrp statistics — displays the GVRP statistics.
show gvrp statistics
Display the GVRP configuration statistics.
Syntax
show gvrp statistics {interface interface | summary}
Parameters
interface
interface
(OPTIONAL) Enter the keyword interface then one of the interface keywords
and slot/port[/subport] or number information:
● For a 10-Gigabit Ethernet interface, enter the keyword
TenGigabitEthernet then the slot/port[/subport] information.
● For a 40-Gigabit Ethernet interface, enter the keyword fortyGigE then the
slot/port information.
● For a port channel interface, enter the keywords port-channel then a
number. The range is from 1 to 128.
summary Enter the keyword summary to display just a summary of the GVRP statistics.

Usage
Information
Invalid messages/attributes skipped can occur in the following cases:
● The incoming GVRP PDU has an incorrect length.
● "End of PDU" was reached before the complete attribute could be parsed.
● The Attribute Type of the attribute that was being parsed was not the GVRP VID Attribute Type
(0x01).
● The attribute that was being parsed had an invalid attribute length.
● The attribute that was being parsed had an invalid GARP event.
● The attribute that was being parsed had an invalid VLAN ID. The valid range is from 1 to 4095.
A failed registration can occur for the following reasons:
●
Join requests were received on a port that was blocked from learning dynamic VLANs (GVRP
Blocking state).
● An entry for a new GVRP VLAN could not be created in the GVRP database.
