Usage
Information
When you configure keepalive, the system sends a self-addressed packet out of the configured
interface to verify that the far end of a WAN link is up. When you configure no keepalive, the system
does not send keepalive packets and so the local end of a WAN link remains up even if the remote end is
down.
negotiation auto
Enable auto-negotiation on an interface.
Syntax
negotiation auto
To disable auto-negotiation, use the no negotiation auto command.
Defaults Enabled.

Information
This command is supported on 10/100/1000 Base-T Ethernet interfaces.
You can use the command on the 10G ports on the device.
The no negotiation auto command is only available if you first manually set the speed of a port to
10Mbits or 100Mbits.
