ipv4-address Enter the IP address of the active management interface in a
dotted decimal format (A.B.C.D.).
ipv6-address Enter an IPv6 address of the active management interface, in the
x:x:x:x::x format.
NOTE: The :: notation specifies successive hexadecimal
fields of zeros.

Usage Information You can configure both IPv4 and IPv6 virtual addresses simultaneously, but only one of
each. Each time this command is issued, it replaces the previously configured address
of the same family, IPv4 or IPv6. The no virtual-ip command takes an address/
prefix-length argument, so that the desired address only is removed. If you enter the no
virtual-ip
command without any specified address, then both IPv4 and IPv6 virtual
addresses are removed.
